Seminar: Venting 101

The instructor will be Dennis Cavallaro. Dennis is the outgoing president for the Washington D.C. chapter after serving 8 years on the chapter board. He currently sits as the chairman for the Board of Governors for the chapter. Dennis has spent the past 25 years in various aspects of the construction industry, including the last 20 years as a Plumbing Engineer. He works for one of the leading Design Build Firms in the Country, Southland Industries, and has sat on various committees for ASPE.

During this educational session he will cover the importance of maintaining trap seals. The basis of how and why sanitary/vent piping is sized and all of the various naming and venting methods allowed by code.

Technical Session: Grease Waste Sizing

The September technical Session will be Grease Waste Sizing. Vince Scriboni, Territory Manager, of Greenturtle will be coming to the Washington DC chapter of ASPE to enlighten us on sizing grease interceptors. Vince is one of the large sponsors of Washington DC Chapter’s very successful holiday social. Greenturtle is sponsored and brought to us by Ames Inc.
